A&M-Central Texas Spring 2012 Commencement to be Held This Saturday

 Killeen, TEXAS—Texas A&M University-Central Texas will hold their spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00am. The event will be held at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in the Mayborn Campus Center.

The presiding officer giving the conferral of degrees will be Dr. Marc Nigliazzo, Inaugural President, A&M-Central Texas; The master of ceremonies will be Dr.Peg Gray-Vickrey, Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, A&M-Central Texas; Posting of colors will be performed by TAMUCT ROTC Cadets; ROTC Cadet Commissioning will be performed by Major General Perry L. Wiggins, Commanding General First Army Division West; Inaugural Honorary Degree presentation will be given to Robert M. Shoemaker; Student greetings will be given by Mr. Fernando Treviño Jr., Student Regent, The Texas A&M University System; System greetings will be given by Ms. Catherine A. Smock, Chief Auditor, The Texas A&M University System; and the national anthem will be sung by Ms. Tonya Miller, A&M-Central Texas student.

The commencement exercises will honor both A&M-Central Texas undergraduate and graduate degree recipients and approximately 330 students are expected to receive their diplomas.
